I’ve made image-generation apps before, and I generate images now and then — but video? Never. And honestly, I wasn’t that interested.
I do have favorite video creators on YouTube though. Watching their work always sharpens something in me.
Then one day, almost by accident, I thought: this looks kind of fun. So I looked into it a little — and ended up wanting to try.
I asked Gemini how to do it. Gave it a go. The quality was surprisingly good, and it was more enjoyable than I expected.
This first time, I let it handle almost everything. Next time I want to try specifying movements, expressions — get a little more hands-on.
I don’t think I’ll get obsessed. But making videos might just be a nice way to switch gears.
