I’m developing all sorts of tools with AI, but I think it’s brilliant that, precisely because I’m building them myself, I can create tools that really tickle that itch.
Today, I added some finer details to a tool I finished the other day, designed to make my work easier.
Even if, after actually using it, I think, “I’d like to tweak this a bit more”, if I can incorporate that change skilfully, it becomes even more user-friendly.
It even makes mundane tasks a joy to carry out.
People often say that those who use AI are “people who don’t think”.
Of course, there might be some who use it without giving it much thought—or perhaps not.
It varies from person to person, so to be honest I don’t really know, but at the very least, I’m racking my brains, and I write the text myself.
I do sometimes ask it to help with the structure of my writing or to check for typos and missing characters during routine tasks, but I personally value my own intuition above all else, so I’m not using AI simply because “it’s convenient”.
I think this applies to everything: you should enjoy the convenience whilst still thinking for yourself without becoming dependent on it. Use it to fill in the gaps. That said, whether you use it or not is really up to the individual.
I’ve got a study session today with the community I’m part of, so I’m looking forward to it.
