Disputes on community-based social media platforms

Disputes on community-based social media platforms

Drama between creators happens. I’ve seen it up close a few times.

Someone I’d been DMing started coming at me on their own space — the kind of thing that feels like a dig. For a second, I thought about pushing back.

I didn’t.

Time and energy. Just not worth it. I wrapped things up and quietly stepped away.

I think if people were a little more considerate of each other, most of this wouldn’t go anywhere. But sometimes it does. They have their reasons, I’m sure. I have my feelings too.

When it comes down to it, I just ask myself: what keeps me at ease? And the answer is usually — just don’t engage.

Lately I keep noticing more people on these platforms who don’t seem to care much about how they treat others. My move is always the same: block, and move on.

Time is equal for everyone. I’d rather not spend mine on people who take more than they give.

Not everyone is going to click. I’d rather put that energy toward the people who do — and keep things at a comfortable distance.
