When I’m explaining something, I try to be as clear as I can. But sometimes the nuance just doesn’t land.
Today was one of those days. We kept talking past each other.
At some point I got frustrated enough to not want to talk at all. I think we both felt it.
Work didn’t really move forward. But by the end, the air had cleared.
It wasn’t about who was right. I just want to be someone who can say “I’m sorry” — and mean it.
Tonight I’m switching gears and letting it go.
