As part of my daily routine, I post tech-related news articles every morning on a social media platform based on articles.
I do this for my own sake; I don’t post the articles with the specific intention of getting anyone to read them.
I received a comment from someone visiting my page for the first time, saying, “It’s a really rewarding read.”
I basically select a few stories from the day’s news that catch my interest, summarise them, and post them along with my own thoughts on the articles.
I started this with the aim of building up the stamina to “keep it up,” but now this morning routine has become an indispensable and enjoyable way for me to start the day.
Even if I have errands to run in the morning, I find myself thinking, “I’d like to get back early so I can check the news articles and post them.”
It’s not so much about the content of the news articles themselves, but rather the sheer excitement I feel at discovering new connections or learning something I didn’t know before.
Although I started this with that intention, the fact that something I do for myself is proving useful to someone else is something that gives me genuine pleasure.
